More Coup [d'etat] Anyone? or Some days, you hate yourself for being a republican… still others, you wake up hating elephants, any word which ends in the suffix "ative” and even *gasp* the Reagan administration….

Okay, the part about Reagan (sorry! I ❤ Ronald!!! ) was just to make this more sensational, but the rest is true. The retard (and i say that not to disparage those with learning disabilities or special needs, but because it’s cliche to say anything else…wait, I’ve got it!) PIQ (which henceforth, will stand for Pants Intelligence Quotient and refer to anyone who posseses less than or equal to intellect as a pair of standard slacks or dungarees; those displaying an IQ comparable to warm-up pants, board shorts or sweats

will be called simply: DEAD) in the white house right now is speaking an almost awe-inspring amount of hypocrisy today, as he condemns this nonsense in North Korea (commentary strewn throughout).

Bush seeks world support for Korea condemnation

President Bush said he wanted the U.N. Security Council to address Pyongyang’s missile tests.

CHICAGO, Illinois (AP) — President Bush said Friday he is determined to rally world support in confronting North Korea over its missile tests to speak “loud and clear.”At the same time, Bush told reporters, “You know, the problem with diplomacy* is it takes a while to get something done while acting alone, you can move quickly.”

Pardon me if I’m incorrect here, but isn’t the EXACT idea of diplomacy: “acting alone while giving the impression of ‘unity of vision?’ ”

(continued from above) In a rare out-of-town news conference, Bush said it was important to bring the issue of North Korea’s missile tests before the U.N. Security Council. He said he wanted to make clear to North Korean leader Kim Jong Il “with more than one voice” that the world condemned the test firing this week of seven missiles, including a long-range missile that failed.

TWO (count ’em 2!)REALLY REALLY BIG BULLET POINTS HERE (yes, I’m nitpicking!):

  • The President completely ignored this guy when he declared his intention to militarily develop nuclear technology. File now under “way, way, way too late,” as I am sure I am unopposed at saying that “currently FIRING MISSILES” qualifies.

  • The term “The World” is slang for “the vast majority of the nations of this planet, sovereign or otherwise,” That being the case, I would imagine Iran, China, and India, not to mention the best part of the middle east, are R‘ing O T F, L‘ing their collective A‘s O at the blunder that the United States + Iraq equation sums to.

…Bush gave a rambling 15-minute opening statement…

BUSH, RAMBLE? — NO EFFIN’ WAY!

seriously, I’m going to be stating the obvious, CNN should have a little more Journalistic Integrity

…Bush is spending more time on the road this summer — and less time vacationing on his Texas ranch —

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE A STRONG DESIRE TO SEND A LETTER TO THE GOP HEADQUARTERS THAT JUST SAYS:

“DAY LATE, DOLLAR SHORT!”

…”It might do me some good,” Bush said.Following a government report showing unemployment holding steady at 4.6 percent in June, Bush also praised the U.S. economy. “Productivity is high, people are better off, people are working,” he said. Bush said immigration was one of the top issues in this midterm election year.

[edit: somebody roll a G-D drum…or 10,000 simultaneously]

“The system we have now isn’t working,” he said.

NEVER, IN MY LIFE, HAVE I WANTED TO TAKE SOMEONE’S QUOTE SO OUT OF CONTEXT…

I should write a book, about Bush post-post-9/11, and this quote could be the title…

(continued from above)

Bush was asked why he was committed to going before the Security Council in an effort to restrict North Korea’s missile and nuclear programs while he ignored the council’s opposition to going to war in Iraq in 2003.”I have always said it is important for an American president to exhaust all diplomatic avenues before use of force,” [SIC ~ dr*] Bush said. As to Iraq, “all diplomatic options were exhausted as far as I was concerned.”

The Rockstar Register™ 2.0 OFFICIAL list of Exhausted diplomatic options in 2003 (notable un-exhausted diplomatic options listed in RED)

  • Ask the UN if it’s cool if we bomb Iraq…
  • DIPLOMACY!!!!!!!!

*when used properly, there is no problem with Diplomacy, as “Diplomacy” and “Mind-Control” are practically congruous.
